Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami (lit. International Miami Football Club), better known as Inter Miami CF or simply Inter Miami (Spanish: Inter de Miami), is an American professional soccer club based in the Miami metropolitan area, who plays in the MLS.

On January 29, 2018, Major League Soccer (MLS) officially approved David Beckham's expansion team in Miami.^[3][4] Since they began playing in the Eastern Conference in the 2020 season, the club has signed several high-profile players such as Blaise Matuidi, Gonzalo Higuaín, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.
